Mr. Charles Yedru, was an old Student of Kpando Technical institute. He pursued Carpentry and Joinery Course now Wood Construction Technology in 1989.
In 1992, he proceeded to Accra where he had a worked placed experienced in his chosen career in the field of Carpentry and Joinery at Gyaff Furniture works at Adabraka for 8 months. He also got employed at Anderson Timber and Joinery Const. Ltd, a Lebanese company at old Fadama where he worked for only 3 months.
In addition to Technical education, Charles Yedru sat and passed G E C ‘O’ level in 1994 and diverted to do a 3 year Cert A Post Secondary Teachers education at Dambai College of education from 1995-1998.
In 1998, Mr. Charles Yedru was posted to Western Region, Omanpe at Aowin Suaman district. He taught for 3 years and applied for 3 years sturdy leave to pursue HND in Furniture Design and Construction in Accra Polytechnic from 1992-1994.
Mr. Charles taught and head Kwasi Amakye SDA basic school at Elloyi in Jomoro District also in the Western Region of Ghana from 1995 to 1998. Charles nevertheless, had another opportunity to applied for a sturdy leave where he pursued Bed. degree in Techical from 2008 to 2010 in U. E W-K.
Mr. Charles Yedru tenure as an H.O.D is from 2021 till date when he succeeded Mr. Delali Winfred Tendeku. Charles Yedru together with his able and dedicated facilitators have a vision to turn around students with weaker grades from JHS to good learners especially in Wood Construction Technology.
